Vegas will be interesting: while the geek is off taking classes, I'll be spending most of my time poolside at the Mandalay Bay (or in the room when it gets too hot outside), reading the stack of Kathy Reichs books the library kindly put aside for me. Just spent every dime I have (and then some) on the Chicago/Wisconsin trip, so I won't be doing much gambling -- hmmm, wonder how many quarters are left in my change jar...
New York is 99% work. The only time I'll probably leave the Hotel Penn is on the Thursday evening; I have a cousin who lives in Brooklyn and we're getting together for dinner.
Phoenix is 100% work. I have a friend in Chandler -- hopefully she'll be in town and free one evening.
Lakeland is the annual Thanksgiving thing at Mom's. No, it won't be "exciting," and my back will be destroyed by a week on their sleeper sofa but the food will be fantastic, I'll play some golf, take more pictures of the birds and gators, and have lots of drinks with their friends. It'll be very relaxing.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
