Copters have been scooping water from the ocean and flying it up to DeLaveaga (where SC Shakespeare has relocated) all day. You know what lies right in between the ocean and DeLaveaga? Our bungalow.

Firefighters are working to put out a brush fire on Upper Park Road in Santa Cruz.
The fire is burning near DeLaveaga Golf Course and has been named the DeLaveaga Fire. According to fire officials, the fire has burned two acres.According to KSBW's news crew at the scene of the fire, evacuations warnings have been issued for N. Branciforte Ave. and Camille Lane.
Police are going door-to-door to homes near the fire telling them to be ready to evacuate.
