Dammit.  I'm getting my giant insect movies mixed up.  In my mind's eye I can see the mantid squadron approaching near the end of the film, humming like giant fans.  Guess what killed them?  The common cold.

No.  That was the Martians!

An atomic bomb.  That always does the trick.

What was that movie?  Dang it.

Ah, got it.  The Deadly Mantis.  Funny.  I always thought that was the one about giant ants.  [Yes, I'm being purposely oblivious at this point.]

By the way, they killed the mantises with chemical bombs in a tunnel.  And maybe there was just one of them.
