Rotoscope has evolved to Motion Capture - mo-cap as we say in the biz. Same idea but better tech. Mo-cap can be done in 3 dimensions.
S2e3: Nicely done. A Bladerunneresque world with a contrapositive spin on Children of men. Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who did Kung Fu Panda 2 & 3. She also did The Darkest Minds which was live action and heavily promoted when I was in Paris. I always meant to see that despite it's lackluster reviews.
Unlike Greg, I'm okay with 'videogame' animation (Greg should avoid this http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=6276). It's really only a small step from this style of animation to what is being done in The Bad Batch. That's just more caricature.
