This is, of course, right in my wheelhouse. "Bingo", 1998, was directed by Chris Landreth. He is a long time cg pioneer and researcher. He typically uses pre-release software packages to create his animated films, showing off the capabilities of the forthcoming software. His film after "Bingo", 2004's "Ryan" won him the Academy Award for best animated short film.
It's interesting that for all the clips I found on youtube for "Bingo", none of them had any credits for the creator. Chris is a bit of an odd duck, but the guy still deserves credit - or blame - for his work, huh?
