Bruce was a pothead. That's been documented in many interviews, as well as on his autopsy report. So was Shitaro Katsu, for that matter (the original Blind Swordsman Zatoichi). PPFY might remember I kept the photo of Shitaro's bust in HI on my workbench at AFS (then again, he might not have got past the baby circumcision poster). As for bad hash, that just seems really unlikely to me. Hash is just one of many distillations of pot. Bad heroin, I'd believe. Bad hash would be akin to bad chewing tobacco. Their are more pesticides in you McD's salad then ever got to Nepal in the 70's and this is from someone who survived the paraquat years. IMO Bruce just pushed too hard. He burned out.
