My nephew was in SF for a short internship and wanted to do a couple of touristy things. Having never been to Alcatraz, we took him.
I thought it was great (maybe odd to say about a visit to a prison). The audio tour (free) was interesting and had high production value - I expected much less from the Park Service. And the view of the city on the way back is fantastic.
