I tell ya, gymnastics is an amazingly well organized sport. Puts martial arts and fencing to shame.
The good news: T got on the podium for all four events plus all-arounds - five medals! FIVE!
The bad news: She placed third and there were only three competitors in her division. She didn't think she deserved it as she took home the most medals of anyone on her team. I told her that in competition, there are plenty of times you'll get cheated out of what you deserve due to bad judging, bad showing, bad whatev, so you just got to take those 'undeserved' medals as compensation for the times you got robbed.
