Reno 911 has forever tarnished my impression of this city...not that I had that high of an impression of it previously, but now, well, it's even worse.
Great Basin Brewery was okay although their house porter, which tasted like coffee (in a good way) was far superior to their specialty Irish Stout, which didn't taste like much of anything. Their specialty double-hop IPA was decent.
Steamboat Hot Springs had nice waters - very smooth texture - but the atmosphere was a tad full of itself. Couldn't turn the damn new age music off. And the outdoor pool, while having a nice view, was tiny and shallow. But the waters were piping hot and odorless.
Didn't even step foot into the casinos. I've been on this losing streak that's gone over a quarter century now.
