Woodshole Film Festival has decided not to wait until June to kick me to the curb and did so last night.

Dear Greg,
Thank you for submitting your film to the Woods Hole Film Festival. After receiving a record number of submissions this year and a very long reviewing process, it pains me to tell you that we are not able to include it in the program this year.
Please know that your film was carefully considered by our programming team, and all the decisions were incredibly difficult, to say the least.
I truly apologize for the generic nature of this message. I wish I could write to everyone personally and thank them. But I do sincerely thank you for sharing your work with us. We wish you the best of luck on your festival run and in all your filmmaking endeavors. Your work is more important than ever, and we hope to have the opportunity to see more of it in the future.
Sincerely,
John Gamache, Associate Director
Woods Hole Film Festival

Kick you to the curb? Don't you mean kick you in the crotch?
Just trying to stay on topic here.

The kick to the curb was done via the crotch. Either way, painful.

Don't have to go to Burbank in the fall.

Dear Greg,
Thank you for submitting your project to the 17th annual Burbank International Film Festival. Unfortunately, we are not able to include it in our program this year.
The selection process is always difficult. Please know that your project was carefully considered by our programming team. Unfortunately, not all of the wonderful projects we consider can be included, and we are forced to make many difficult decisions each year.
Thank you again for sharing your project with us and we're grateful you submitted to our festival; we appreciate all your hard work. We wish you the best of luck, and we hope to have the opportunity to view more of your work in the future.
We would still be delighted to have you join us at the festival as an attendee. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other filmmakers and industry professionals, and we believe you'll find it to be a valuable and enriching experience.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Anna Maybury
President
Burbank International Film Festival

Thank you so much for sharing your film with us! We were absolutely flooded with incredible stories this year, and with so few slots, we unfortunately can't include your beautiful project in this lineup. We are so incredibly grateful for your creativity and hard work, support and we are rooting for your success on the rest of your festival journey!
Cheers,
Melbourne Documentary Film Festival Team

Welp, I won't be going to Galway for a film festival this year. Doesn't mean I won't be going to Galway. I might. Just won't get to use the going to a film festival reason. No one in the Republic of Ireland has seen the film.

Dear Greg,
Thank you so much for submitting Iron Crotch to the Galway Film Fleadh.
Unfortunately, we were not able to include it in our programme this year.
Please know that your film was carefully considered by our programming team who watched hundreds of feature films throughout the judging process and who strive to create a balanced and varied programme.
We don't have the resources to provide feedback for each submission but we are really grateful for the opportunity to watch your film and we want to thank you for submitting to the festival. We wish you the very best in the future!
Go raibh maith agat,
PROGRAMMING TEAM

I take that back. Some group has seen the film in Ireland. I just don't know where.

Woo Hoo!
I've been thinking I need to patch this thread for polite rejection letter content. I've been using the same rejection letter for KFM for years and it could use an update. Thanks in advance, Greg.
