I misread that as knee pants. I had an odd picture in my head...

That's funny. My mind went somewhere entirely different when Greg said knee pads. And yup, it went straight to the gutter.

I got a YMAA meeting first thing then I’m taking my mom to her first meeting with her newest doctor, something I’ve been working on for months. Assuming that goes well, I might visit cf who emailed me today which must’ve taken a lot of effort given his physical state. Then I’m coming home because the construction is in a place where I don’t want to be. I was toying with the idea of seeing the Normal screener tonight but after my 3 articles in 3 days, I’m too burnt to write another this week.

Heading to the mailbox to see if my tax guy has sent me my tax returns yet. I'm not stressing about that at all. Finish the day finish finishing the fence.

Got an interview with a friend first thing, then a solid day of YMAA work, then yoga. Still sore from the last yoga sess.

Saw the cfs yesterday. Cf sent me a short email that he said took him 45 mins to write. Since I was there early for my mom’s appt, I was able to make a short visit. Twas good to see them.

I just saw several displaying reports about fandom SJ on ig. It was held in south hall, not inside the main building like Galaxy.con or SVCC and there were many cancelations. A lot of vendors bailed Sunday. Seems like I dodged that bullet.

South hall? SOUTH HALL?!?!?!

Celebrating the end of tax season (still haven't received my returns) by going to the dentist.

Indeed. South Hall. And it was freakin emptier than TCEC on late Sunday.

Interview done. That went extraordinarily well.

I am now in line for SDCC hotel reservations.

2 YMAA telemeets and it’s been dreadful on that front. My sales have been down all year and there’s almost no way for me to make my annual goal. But then a day of work and iai, and tomorrow will be better.

Tomorrow closing the shop hella early to go to Farr’s memorial service. I’m giving the funeral a pass — there will be enough Generational Trauma on display there that I might be moved to violence.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I'll start getting the bail money together. Once again, I'm sorry for your loss.
