The Misfits stood out to me as well. I recognized 17 bands. Good to see the LA Philharmonic getting some gigs.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Watching Nine Inch Noize will on my dinner break. It’s making me wish I had subwoofers on my TV.

Just read that the ultra weekend suite costs $70,000 and they are offering a plate of chicken nuggets and caviar for $100

Daaaaaammmn

The text comments are funny.

This new incarnation of NIN is amusing me.

Quote:Coachella Medical Staff Rush Overly Lucid Man To Emergency Psychedelics Tent

INDIO, CA—Stressing that they had to act quickly before the situation further deteriorated, medical staff working the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival reportedly rushed overly lucid 23-year-old Zach Hillman into an emergency psychedelics tent Friday. “Thank God for the good Samaritans who alerted us as soon as they noticed him standing up straight and watching the musicians perform—this could have gotten ugly fast,” said EMT Jordan Keeley, who ushered the excessively conscious Hillman through the beaded curtains of one of many hallucinogen aid centers strategically stationed across the festival grounds to administer patients urgent doses of psilocybin, acid, and DMT. “Holy shit, he’s making coherent small talk! I’m gonna need 10 cc’s of toad venom, stat—let’s get his blood pressure way up. Quick! Before Moby goes on!” At press time, Coachella medical staff were shouting, “Fuck, we’re losing him!” as Hillman stated that it was great to meet everyone, but it was time for him to go hydrate and reapply his sunscreen.

Mmm!

I saw this on IG so it must be true. The photo was a paper plate of nuggies and a teaspoon of caviar on a small cracker.

That last line was the kicker for sure. Definitely got a smirk out of me when I read it.

Did you notice the dude smoking a bong in the background? For the record, emergency psychedelic tents do not look like that...

...anymore.

Apparently the winds are crazy this year. Anyma couldn't perform because his set pieces weren't strong enough to withstand the wind. He was working on debuting a new show and just dropped a collab with Lisa of BlackPink. He's high on my list of EDM DJs to see. The stuff he did at the Sphere looked absolutely mind-blowing.

And one person was injured when a heavy light fixture blew off its mooring and fell on them. I can relate to that. An old dead speaker got shaken loose from the heavy bass at a Cali Roots show one year, landing on a patron. I wasn't on that call but saw the aftermath.

HUNTR/X dropping in on Katseye for a lackluster Golden was still a nice show of solidarity.

Glad to see Bini make the line up.

David Byrne did some of the same show he’s been touring with, pared down to fit in Coachella’s time slot parameters.

In other words, he killed it.

This show is coming to the Frost this month. I was sorely tempted to work it, but it’s midweek and I’ve got conflicts.

Coachella helps MAGA

The quick lowdown: Anschutz Corp runs it, owned by Philip Anschutz, who donates to right-wing causes, so Coachella is supporting that. Details in linked article.

Aw man. Major buzzkill.

I felt I hit the best parts of last weekend just by chance. I cranked out 3 articles in 3 days with my Coachella YouTube channel running, which worked for me quite well. This upcoming weekend, I won't tune in because I've got 3 live shows in 3 days...
