I'll fill this in tomorrow after the announcement. Super excited for that weekend - a wild 3-night run just lined up and I gotta pull it together for that.

Gillian Welch & David Rawlings play the Grateful Dead Acoustic Reckoning

There are actually three dates. April 17-18 this comes to the Fox in Oakland. I've requested to volunteer for the first Friday night show. I'd do the second show too but I'm committed to Drain (an up&coming Cruzian punk band) at the Quarry. And then this. 

A triple header weekend. Now that DM is 62, he doesn't have a lot more of these left in him.

I've been seeing promos on FB for that tour for awhile. cool that they are coming to the quarry. I got their autograph's when they played at Kuumbwa after their first album. Gillian is a slug. I love Dave Rawlings guitar playing. Should be a cool show.

Yup...Tickets went on sale at 9am, but no matter what I do, I can't get the "But Tickets" button to light up.

When I looked last night and this morning around 8am, it said they were going onsale today at 9am. after 9am, you could view the event info, but the buy button was dead. Maybe the unlock code gets some early access users in...

I texted the general manager when it went down. He sounded pretty scattered with his reply. I'll see him tomorrow and find out more. 

Meanwhile I've been listening to Reckoning on repeat. Luv that album. I only saw the Dead acoustic a few times and each was truly heavenly. Jerry acoustic was always next level.
