Today I have a Lam Kwoon byol in ‘toga. That is all. 

I overslept so I missed yoga (it’s then end of an intensive anyway).

I was tempted to work Cyndi Lauper at the dump but bailed. 

Maybe I’ll do my expenses or write a bit.

Internet from Oakhurst is still out so I get to go right to work my Crotch. It's going to be hard.

I'm using my iPhone as a hotspot for limited surfing.

I need to shift gears and catch up on some other chores and such. I am the featured artist at Red Rock Coffee open mic on Indigenous People's Day and then Tasteful Dudes are the featured artist at 3 Flames open mic the following Wednesday. Both 15-20min sets. I'll probably try to work Ludwig's back in in the next 2-4 weeks. 

Today - finish removing the dead layer of turf (mostly crabgrass and weeds) in the back yard. I already had 3/4 of it done, but it's been too hot and I've been pretty busy. I started to work on it this morning before the heat, but I got 3 mosquito bites on my leg, so I stopped...(I hope they weren't carrying west Nile Virus). When I finish that, I need to level the gopher mounds, remove the bigger stones, put down weed screen and then move the giant pile of mulch I got from the driveway.

Lots of house cleaning, putting things away. Moving some things to the garage. 

I was trying to move a massive display cabinet my dad has to the room where I've collected all my family's things, but I discovered that it's too long and can't make the 90 degree turn into the destination. Somebody at work was giving away a longer, but shorter display cabinet, so I managed to get that a few weeks ago and it's in the room now, but it's too low. I'm sure it was part of a set and was meant to go on top of a long cabinet. Luckily, I have a TV Console-ish thing in the living room, so today I will try to empty that out, move it in the room, then puzzle over how to get the display case on top of it. When that's done, I get to transfer all the curios from one cabinet to the other. 

There's a city wide garage sale in Cupertino coming up. I'd like to start prepping stuff for that now. There is still much to purge.

Sounds like a lot of work there, tg. Perhaps you need to make an indie ‘tg gigs’ thread so we might keep up and maybe even get to one of your shows. Or we could pull a yeti and say we’re gonna go and then bail at the last minute.

The "turf" has been removed. Now to get it in the green waste bin. The problem is that the dead turf/crab grass is hanging on to soil, so it's quite a mix of vegetation and not-vegetation and is making the can extra heavy. I only filled it 1/2 full last week and they took it, so hopefully I can get away with that a few more times.

48 hours until I lock picture and show my Iron Crotch to my composer. I hope he likes it.

There's a bunch of fiddly bits to work through. I think i have doubles of certain clips that I want to remove. Still plenty to do after it goes to the Composer and before the music comes back Good thing I'm going to SF for five days...
