Riddle me this.

This is from Disney. K-Disney. So it's not on Disney+ here in the US, only Hulu (owned mostly by Disney). WTH?

Seems like it should be on Netflix.

I noticed in Ireland that a lot of Hulu shows are just on Disney+ over there. Dammit.

Disney has been mining Korean creators for a while now. None of that content is getting over to us yet, but I'm hearing a lot of good buzz.

Faraway Downs. November

It's on Hulu. Do any of us even use Hulu. It's by Baz Luhrman with Nicole Kidman and Huge Jackman. Huge gets to say 'Crikey'

Shogun. February. I can't tell if it's a remake of the 1980s drama based on the book by Clavell.

It is a redux of the Clavell book. I went to a major installation for this at SDCC (thought I reported it here but I did not - it was KFM). The Hilton had a skin for it that covered the entire building. The installation was dumb. There was this video koi pond that when you looked into it, it put you in Japanese armor, but it kept malfunctioning. There was some armor but it was across the koi pond so you couldn’t see it well (costume obvs). The whole space was set up like a tea garden and there was a martial arts demo but a martial arts master friend who saw it said it was lame. He showed me his video and I gave it a miss.

Nevertheless, the show has Sanada; so it has potential.
