Do I detect a note or sarcasm in your post? Honestly when isn’t there a note of sarcasm in any of your posts?
Anyone get the day off today? Not I.

No...the fruit factory swapped Columbus Day for MLK day a while ago. Now that it's also Indigenous People's Day, I think they should also give us that day

Nonetheless, this should be an amusing week.
I was riffing on the fact you said you were in for an amusing week which made me think of the Chinese proverb.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Yea, believe it or not, I got that.
It's not clear that the 'interesting times' curse was actually of Chinese origin. I have yet to find any Chinese version of it.

As soon as I made the statement, I figured that was probably the case and your eventual response. Print the myth, dammit.

That totally counts.
You should have the day off. Drop whatever you're doing and go home right now.
The rest of us immigrants will keep on working...

Two telemeets - first YMAA where I’ll report my worst results so far, then immortal which will be about the LA Shaolin event which I’m still not sure about, then to Tiger Claw for a check in (an hopefully stock up on some gear), then mom chores and a night in svale.
Big day with lots of gear shifts.

Oh that tiktok rabbit hole…
Today I get up and go home. Yesterday got nuts - my transmissions couldn’t make all the shifts fast enough. Went from nibbling on that article (or not) over the weekend to 5 more assignments in but a few hours. If I can get it together, I’ll take the edge off a daito TC gave me for a new iaito. I haven’t blunted a blade since my AFS daze…

Today my computer goes to the computer repair place courtesy of The Queen. It's been crashing after about forty minutes or so. I suspect they will just wipe the entire thing and start over.

Hope the puter is ok.
Today is another triple telemeet Thursday, dog parkn & iaido with some new gear - a polypropylene bokken and a freshly blunted stainless steel daito.
