I'm assuming you probably have an older TV that you won't upgrade until the it dies. Newer TVs have ethernet ports that would end your WiFi problems. We had to get a new TV when our old one died (slowly and somewhat humorously) last year and the new one has an ethernet port. Way better than the Amazon thing we were using, it ended all the bufffering and signal dropping issues.

we don't have internet. that's a privilege of employed. we have to pick up xfinity wifi (my mom has xfinity but it's under my email so we have access).

no router. xfinity provides wifi, at least to the north side of the bungalow, and we have the password because of my mom's account. it can be hit or miss in my hood. our local provider, cruzio, can't hit us and i can walk to their office in a matter of minutes. seabright is weird that way.
we used to piggyback off a neighbor, but they moved out. and i'm a ninja, not a pirate. obvs.
