I saw that this got a mention on the TV season thread, but only the title. Watched it on a friend's recommendation. David Tennant and Olivia Coleman are police investigators in a seaside English town, and a boy that she knows is murdered. That investigation is the first season, the trial pretty much is the second, and another case is the third and final season. Both leads were very good, and she gets to do a lot more than in The Crown, where it's pretty much just being keeping a stiff upper lip. HP connection: David Bradley (Filch) as a shop owner.

No sword fighting though, so maybe not for you.

Greg and I both posted that we enjoyed that.

Stacy and I watched most all of it.  We enjoyed the general atmosphere of it, but honestly I'd be hard pressed to remember what happened exactly.  Coleman was great and look where she is now.

Olivia Coleman is also in Hot Fuzz, which I caught over the weekend. Her main role in the film is to make bawdy and suggestive comments to her fellow police officers.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
