The Expanse

Got haircut.

Good to be back on board the Rocinante with the crew.  Hoping Bobby joins them on New Terra soon.

Sadly, the Expanse is not on our list of shared shows. I will have to wait for some alone time to start watching.

Bobbie kickin ass!

I still don't like Holden.  He's like John Snow in GoT - the central character but so damn whiny.  I luv all the other characters though.  And I love the vision, particularly the way the tech looks and works.  Those comm units are awesome and don't even get me started on how cool the rail guns are.

New Terra sux.

Not sux in an unentertaining way.  Sux in a 'wow that sux - what else can go wrong for these poor belta settlers, the rce team and the roci crew?' way.  each ep things just get worse and worse.  i keep thinking i should stop and then it's like well, i gotta see how they escape this...

E8 is the glimmer of hope.
E9 is the last cliffhanger of the season, setting up the finale.

Finale next.  Been a good ride.  Very satisfying season. I'm glad that Bobbie has her own indie story line and that Amos had a lot of character development.

S4E10 is a tad anticlimactic.  It mostly lines up S5 with some player changes and new conflicts.  Now we have to wait what? Another year?  Maybe I'll be sick again and I can binge it all in a weekend.  Hopefully not though.

I've adopted a new affectation (as if I don't have enough of those already) - calling peeps 'bossmang'.  I generally will call peeps in the service industry 'boss'.  It's something I picked up in China.  You can call any service provider - taxi driver, waitperson, so many petty bureaucrats that impede your progress - 'shifu'.  It's courteous.  For me personally, it also devalues the term 'boss' a bit, which I'm inclined to do because my current boss is like two decades younger than me and often plays the punk blue-blood card (by his own admonition).

At least I'm not saying 'ke' all the time.  Not yet at least.  I blame my Expanse mug.

Well? Well? Who has seen Season 4? It's been out for almost two months. My excuse is that tQ does not care for the show or hasn't seen it because there's no time at the moment to adopt a new show.

But that all changes tonight. tQ is on her way to Chicago and I have four days to catch up at Lynch Lair. Unless I get sucked into the Impeachment Shit Show for the zillionth time.

Cover me boys, I'm going in.
