It’s almost as annoying as Chewie not getting a medal at the end of the first film. He’s got that last wookienese line/roar which surely translates into ‘where’s my medal? What? It’s because I don’t wear pants, isn’t it?’

So if you see this twice, is it Duo? Tara took me for Father's Day. We thought about the Incredibles 2 but the theaters were packed. As it went, we were stuck with front row side seats. It didn't matter too much because I took some flexeril that made me drowsy so I wasn't following that well. But what I did see was good the second time. Tara agreed with my initial review - decent Star Wars movie, better than expected, but not stellar. Two thoughts - how long did Han & Chewie stay on Tatooine before meeting Luke? Long enough to fail a job for Jabba at least. Also, it would be fun to edit together all of the Chewie scenes in all of the movies and just watch that like one film. I wonder how long that would be...

That seems like one of those web articles trying to make something out of nothing.
I write a lot of those...

He works his social media. Sith life, man.
I should reach out to him again. He needs more KFTC coverage.

darts? i luv darts! i'm a crappy throw tho. couldn't hit a yeti with a fencing mask at five paces. i still luv the idea of darts.
i even gifted victory a dart board just because ppfy said 'no gifts'. we got a lot of mileage out of the dart board at afs. i don't think he ever even opened it. that makes it even better to my way of thinking.
sith darts. yeah, that'd be so cool.
fat ray. yea right. fat with thick brawny muscles.

And on the third viewing, should it be Trio? Watched with Stacy who approved surprisingly. Not that she dislikes Star Wars, she's just not as obsessed as me or Tara. I didn't pick up on the GoT angle with Qi'ra/Mother of Dragons in previous viewings having not seen that at the time. I still like it. It's one of my favs of the post millennial SW flicks. I'm still hoping they pick up the storyline, mostly for Maul. But then, I've given up on Clone Wars, unless Maul returns.
Also it's strangely parallel to Picard at first. ST Rios = SW Han, ST Val = SW Raffi, SW Rio name = ST Rios, SW Beckett balding = ST Picard bald. And both have random swords when everyone else has blasters/phasers, and yet the swords make the critical kills.

And now it’s quad. Man, I’m struck by the fact that I’ve seen this 4 times now. It’s still a bit of alright. Better than anticipated. Alden’s take on Han is parallel to Chris Pine’s Kirk, spot on but with enough variation to make it work. And it plays well on Han tropes like when Lando says ‘I hate you’ and Han quips ‘I know’.
When watching in timeline order, it fits well because Chewie is introduced at the very end of E III, and it’s as much his tale as Han’s.
I’m still sad this didn’t do well enough to warrant a sequel. The Crimson Dawn story arc might’ve been fun.
Also amused at the Teras Kasi reference. That could’ve gone much further.

Have you thrown the short "Troops" into the mix? It fits right between IV and V...

Just doing the live action feature films.
If I added that, I’d feel obligated to add Mando, Boba, Kenobi & Ashoka, and already I’m feeling like this is too much time to invest.
