I don't care if it is Phil Collins daughter, I'm still not watching.

S3e1 - somewhat cliche, enough so that all the end of ep cliffhangers were predictable. I was glad of the ‘previously’ hit at the beginning because I forgot a lot. I don’t really care for Emily but I like some of the characters around her. The show is colorful, gay, and shows of paris. I keep watching for places I might’ve been.

Christina put it on. I was bored. I think it's run it's course. Although I do like the French guy with crazy hair.

E2 was kinda cute and almost all the conflicts from E1 were resolved except for the big one carrying over from S2. It’s much better for me if I don’t focus on Emily because she’s so shallow and vapid and her outfits hurt the cones of my retinas. The surrounding cast is what it’s about for me - that and it does show Paris well. There was a scene shot at Berthillon, which is the best sorbet place we found. That was fun to recognize in that ‘we were right there!’ way. It made this ep work for me.

E3 the cat zoom thing was painfully predictable. Weak writing there. Glad to get rid of the Chicago boss (Wendy Malick would’ve killed this part). Lots of sex in this ep, but it’s all undercover of off screen because this show doesn’t show nudity.

I’ve decided this show is really more about Luc & Mindy, not Emily. Luc is cool and funny. Mindy (Ashley Park) is a good singer and more talented than Lily - Lily did sing in the last ep and it was weak but in character. Mindy has showtune range.

E4: Too much Emily in this ep. She really doesn’t work for me. Or maybe I’m just jealous that she’s having such a grand time in Paris. I’m also very disappointed that her IG is ads for the show and not the IGs Emily posts in the show. Another conflict resolved and now things can proceed merrily along to the next scenic tribulation.

Wait is Camille going to go lesbian? That would be hawt…

E5: Everything just goes well for Emily. It’s annoying. Her story arc in this ep was painfully predictable.
Mindy’s story is far more interesting, and she’s a great singer. This ep ends with a decent song from her, well sung and acted. And Camille hooked up with that Greek artist gal (which is a spoiler but are any of you bothering to watch this?) The series realizes now that it’s important to show off Paris, because it is such a photogenic city. That’s really the best part.

No Mindy in this ep. Not much Paris either. They go to a villa with lavender fields to promote a purple sports car and a perfume. Too much Emily. The Camille lesbian affair heats up and this ep is the most risqué with both Camille and later Sylvie topless but we only see their backs. This was a more tepid ep.

I thought the writing was particularly sloppy for this episode. The perfume magnate has always seemed chill, but now is volatile? Is Emily super good at marketing or is she like Chance the gardener in Being There, just parroting words (with her perfume idea)? Probably asking too much for character continuity in this.

Yeah, e6 was the filler ep until the dash to the finale. I binged the rest after e7.

The Pierre cliffhanger was just too funny. Loved seeing d’Orsay - one of my fav museums. The Camille/Gabriel arc went just about as I thought it might although I didn’t see the final twist (I should have). That and Eurovision set the stage for the next season.

Emily’s (Lily’s) cutesy expressions really annoy me. It reminds me of Meg Ryan just before she sompletely lost it. It’s more about Mindy, Sylvie, and Luc for me. And of course, Paris.

I’ll watch another season if this gets renewed. It’s a comfort show - a silly soap opera in picturesque settings with outrageous fashion and grand parties. If Bee and PuppyCat are stream of conscious candy, this is a chocolate eclair or one of those fruity dessert crepes.

She's so skinny! She was always skinny of course, but now she's almost cadaverous.

So French!

This show is less and less about Emily and more about the supporting cast for me. I'll probably tune in a bit, mostly to see Paris again (as if the Olympics won't be enough).
