I hope H goes to the Pantry.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Clearly someone needs to do that DM & the Yeti story. ‘Cause it’s epic!
Today is YMAA work then over to Tiger Claw for TCEC work (Jedi stuff - srsly) then visit mom to pay bills then check the svale house and listen to reggae express, plus some more 3 body problem.

Saturday nights alright for fighting; but today starts with Kung Fu, then an errand to get water, then hoping there’s a break in the storm for a Yuki outing, then the reggae social for dinner and drinks.

Happy Easter! It’s a holiday I don’t really celebrate anymore. My mom loves it and it has been something she and Tara have shared since Tara was born but this year, she’s too swamped with studies. Stacy is working (holidays are good tip days) as am I. I feel a little guilty for not going over but my mom said she was ok with it (what else could she say?)
Heading out to yoga next. Stacy went to the earlier more advanced class because she’s heading straight out to work. Not up for that after last night’s reggae - might get lunch downtown, then home to work on some KFM/TCEC stuff and take Yuki for a walk.
Kinda craving hard boiled eggs…
Quote:I'm in Boston town in some restaurant
I got no idea what I want
Or maybe I do but I'm just really not sure
Waitress comes over, nobody in the place but me and her
Well it must be a holiday, there's nobody around
She studies me closely as I sit down
She got a pretty face and long white shiny legs
I said "Tell me what I want"
She say "You probably want hard boiled eggs"
I said "That's right, bring me some"
She says "We ain't got any, you picked the wrong time to come"

Saturday was workin at the shop. Decent day of business, nothing spectacular. Then quick home and quicker over to H's (who is finally done traveling until Summer). Change into nicer clothes, then we Lyft across town to meet Derek Cotton & Fam at House of Nanking. Afterwards, stroll through our Doom Loop Mad-Max Liberal Hell Apocalypse back to their hotel where we close down the bar. A very good night.
Today is an open Easter house with Friends of H in the Haight, then bookstore shenanigans, also in the Haight.

Had people over for a brunch that wound up with hanging out all day long. Nephews came early and left, then some friends came late. Hanging in the back yard from about 11-5. I had a good time. My nephew's oldest kid (10) told me he liked my artwork and asked if I would make him something for his birthday. I've never been that fond of him - he's got some behavioral problems - but I was touched by that.
