Sheltering in Place
left my mom's ~4:15pm on Thurs bits was 94. It took over 2 hours...

I got to Marina and it was 71.

Today, I was indoors all day, head down, working. The weather app says it hit 92.

~7pm, I went for a walk. It was a lovely 71 degrees again

Around 90 here. I took today off since Christina and I both had doctor's appointments. Couldn't get my bloodwork done because of the strike, but did get my flu shot and 2nd shingles shot. Went to a late breakfast afterward and was underwhelmed. I've decided going out to breakfast isn't worth it unless you can go someplace fantastic.

Shingles & flu together? I added Covid to that and lived to tell (in retrospect I should’ve spread them out).

Well, I haven’t spit blood but I’m calling it… it’s nap time. I surrender to the triple vax. I got overconfident not having any previous reactions to the Rona vax but this is the bivarianf, plus the shingles and flu. I surrender. My antiviral system overload needs me to be unconscious for a few hours now. Good thing I planned for this.

I fully intended to sleep in today but Yuki had other ideas. Soon it’s Kung Fu, then I must attend to that KFM writing & editing I failed to do yesterday due to creamsicle issues.

I did the double. It was fine except for the dead arms.

Lily decided to warn us about the cows at midnight. Her warning took an hour.

85 today.
I just had my first taste of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. I was looking for Jack Straw Berry but found non-dairy Cherry Garcia instead. Yuki got some The Bear and the Rat ice cream for dogs - bacon and peanut butter flavor. We had an ice cream moment - or at least an ice cream substitute because there was no cream. The only way to beat creamsicle syndrome is to vaccinate with ice non-dairy cream.

First time ever with Cherry Garcia or just recently. Cherry Garcia is my goto Ben and Jerry flavor.

90° here at the moment. No AC yet.

Since we have to drive to Fresno to get the new COVID shot, I was planning to take a day off work and get all of the innoculations I need at once: COVID, flu, pneumonia, RSV, and apparently it’s time for my Tetanus booster. Five at the same time shouldn’t be a problem, right?
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Sure! No problemo. Just make sure you’re home before those sides kick in and not driving…

How’s the heat up at the lair today?

Well alrighty then. Moving on.

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary. We’ll do yoga but we’re worried about our instructor who has a lot of family in Israel. Then we both work (I’m really going to start that article I’ve been meaning to work on for that last few days). We plan to celebrate our anniversary next weekend.

Happy Anniversary. Celebrate responsibly!. The Queen also has a friend in Tel Aviv, but she has marked herself safe.
