Sheltering in Place
Power outage. Sitting around the Queen's phone listening to the Jan 6th hearing.

928.110: on the road home.
In the end, Mono hot springs sucked. The best part was Old Pedro and hiking the Ansel Adams Wilderness with Yuki, who had a blast on those hikes, chasing lizards, and dashing in between us.
I’ll have more to say later.

930.112 Hit some serrious writer's block tonight so hopefully tomorrow will be better. Apart from that, it's laundry, yoga, and work.

931.113: Just turned in my Rajamouli piece. Man, that was much more of a wrestle than I thought it would be. Perhaps that was because I didn't hit it fresh after the interview. Also, he dropped so many interesting answers that I didn't know what to omit. Tollywood takes lots of 'splainin' already so keeping it around the max word count was tough.

Anyway, that's done. I need a little writing break now. Moving on.

Now it's Monday - two telemeets and regular work.

932.114. Today starts with a telemeet, then a phone call with my mom’s investment banker to move some of her money about, then over to svale for mom errands, of which there are many because last week’s were skipped for our mono trip.

933.115: back to mom first thing for her doctor appt, then over the hill to get some blood drawn, then shots, shots, shots, then home to rest and not see the Black Adam screener.

934.116: Feel like crap today. Both shoulders feel like they've been trod upon by an elephant. Work up shivering last night with chills and teeth chattering. Head's all spacey and body aches. Tinnitus is cranked up to dentist drill levels - like drilling wisdom teeth.
I'm bailing on Kung Fu tonight and hope to observe an Iaido class that a dog park friend runs instead. I've been feeing the call to get back to Iai. I really enjoyed it when I did it. And I've got all the gear in storage. Plus with my receding hairline, I almost have a Samurai haircut if I tie my pony right.

Can confirm
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

You know how when in those Samurai films when one ronin tells the other to ‘brace up’ and the other gasps, spits blood and dies? Well, I haven’t spit blood but I’m calling it… it’s nap time. I surrender to the triple vax. I got overconfident not having any previous reactions to the Rona vax but this is the bivarianf, plus the shingles and flu. I surrender. My antiviral system overload needs me to be unconscious for a few hours now. Good thing I planned for this.
