Snakes on a Plane

Why don't you train the 3 eyed rabbit to chase the snake? He/She/It could stare it down with it's third eye and dominate! How does that rabbit feel around cosmetics?

Thursday, the cat made it's snake meow. DM was trying to nap. DM's cub heard it and got DM up to investigate. The cat was in the library. We didn't find anything but a slightly guilty looking cat.

Sunday, the snake emerges before Mrs. Dm, teased out of our one thick shag carpet by the cat. We only have one thick carpet and snakes can hide in there for days apparently. It's a white carpet, but these are small snakes. This one was maybe a 6-incher, and gray. They burrow down deep so they can't be seen at all and entangle themselves in the shag so tightly that DM has to comb through the carpet quite thoroughly, grab the snake by the tail and pull it out gently so it doesn't snap in two.

Dm now wonders how many snakes are living in the carpet.

we have pergo. the pergo is great for snakes as mentioned above. we just have this one white thick shag throw rug. it's not very big, maybe 8x8. it's the flaw when the snake come marching in. i'm now thinking it could probably hold 50 or 60 of this little wrigglers. creepy.

Best Film EVER!!!! If you like the bad guy from Karate Kid 2, you'll like this film. If you like smooth headed Julianna Margulies, you will like this film. If you like snakes biting breasts and snakes biting dicks, you'll love it. If you like the fact they throw out any relationship to reality, this film is going to rock your world. I can't wait to see it again. It was the perfect DOOM film. You should have been watching this on Saturday night.

It lost momentum a hair when the killings subsided, but the initial snake attack was the best thing I've seen on celluloid since Citizen Kane.

I finally saw it too.  After spending all of yesterday waiting in the ER, then coming back to my mom's to frantically search for the cat, this was playing on BET.  Finally.  

Greg was right over a decade ago.  Best Film EVER!!!!!

I didn't connect the bad KK2 kid, but after watching almost all of The Good Wife, I'm a big fan of Julianna and she was hilarious.  Plus Kenan has grown on me after being the longest running Not Ready for Prime Time Player (still not ready).  And Samuel always kills it, even when it's a plane full of snakes.  

Rereading all my snake cat issues brought back so many memories of Redbell.  She was a naughty cat, never quite lost her ferality.  I kinda forgot what a great snaker she was.  If the cf's had her in Peru, it would be Snakes on a canoe.  Her death was so sudden and shocking, and having to tell Tara that on the phone while she was abroad in Oaxaca remains one of the hardest conversations we've had (and we've had plenty of hard ones - such is parenthood).  Now this new cat Skittles is an innocent but he brought about such destruction.  

Cats.  WTH?  Maybe snakes are better.

But back to Snakes on a Plane.  What a delightful distraction.  Just gotta admire its unabashed and unrelenting ridiculousness.
