A French dromedy about a Paris talent agency. It follows Camille, a young woman from the south of France coming to Paris to make it in the entertainment industry somehow. She reaches out to her estranged father who is an agent at ASK. He discouraged her from the industry so she takes an assistant job at the agency when he's not looking. No one knows she's his daughter, so that's one little secret to begin the farcicle stories of which there are many. Lots of intrigue, double talk, ego massaging. Additionally, the season begins with the founder of the agency dying and the partners struggling to keep the agency afloat.
We just finished season 2. The writing is pretty good, the plot engaging, the jokes funny. I'm surprised les entendres double work even with subtitles. Each episode and multiple subplots and there are long story arcs as well.
Guest appearances of French celebs are frequent (Juliette Binoche, Christopher Lambert) and it seems they have a good time playing themselves on the show.
