American McGee's Bad Day L.A. (PC Game)
#1
Holy Christ was this bad.

I'm generally a sucker for cell-shaded games. The comic-book characters and environments are open for anythig.

This game however, sucks ass.

You may remember American McGee from his most-awesome "Alice" game a few years back. It put the player in the shoes of Alice (of Wonderland fame) and sent her behind the looking glass into a dark, twisted, violent world of lethal playing cards and malicious chess pieces. Fighting your way through to reality was magnificent.

This game (as noted above), sucks ass.

You play an abrasive black, homeless, L.A. street person. He calls Mexicans 'Taco Benders'.

You kill inmates. gang members, white army guys, Mexican army guys, zombies, terrorists and others as you make your way out of L.A. on a day filled with terrorist attacks, meteor showers, tsunamis and revolututions.

The graphics are only marginally better than the controls, which are marginally better than the voice acting and arginally better than the cell-shaded graphics.

At least the game is mercifully short.
