What if Superman as a kid was a bad guy? That's the pitch for this movie. And there is nothing more than that. If Superman was a bad guy as a kid, he'd be a bad guy.
It's super hero movie with horror move tropes. They do jump scares. They do a lot of "I can't see what's there. Is it the bad guy?"
I was pretty bored.
I saw it because James Gunn of Guardians of the Galaxy Fame produced it. His cousin and a different brother than the acting Gunn brother wrote it.
Even the extras were dull.
