Ender's Game
#1
Didn't make me feel homophobic at all.

Think of this movie as a highlight reel of the book. All the scenes are there with none of the depth. Plus, Asa Butterfield, didn't make me believe he was this superstrategist leader. But then, he wasn't really given enough time to show he had those skills.

The one thing that was funniest to me was the approach to weightlessness in the battle room scenes. With all the talk surrounding the film 'Gravity' and how they approached was it supposed to be very realistic looking weightlessness, I was paying extra attention to how they accomplished it in this film. Looks like they hung people from wires and then removed them in post.

It was enjoyable to see the scenes from the book played out on the big screen.

One big mistake I thought was at the end, after Ender has traveled light years to get to the forward base and they have their big battle, they cut back to Valentine his sister back on Earth. She is still the same age as when Ender left. Hmmmmmmmm
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
