Portal 2 (PC)
#1
The Portal games should be required in school. gravity, physics (complex gravity) and social interaction combine into a brilliant puzzler.

I found the 2nd game slightly easier being used to the mechanics of the first game.

The story is more engaging, with some fantastic voice acting from robots that want to kill you, or want you to help them kill other robots.

The world becomes huge with miles of underground complexes. Searching for panels to use as portals becomes sniper-like.

Tons of fun for parents who don't want their kids killing living beings in search of achievements.

I got stuck on Portal 1. I resorted to watching the walk thrus on YouTube and still can't do it. I feel inadequate. :oops: Maybe it's because I'm trying to play it on a Mac laptop.

Got my son Portal 2 for his birthday (it came out the next day). I think he said he finished it in 3 days. He finished the first in about a week.

<sigh>

Time to start digging that hole in the basement to bury the shame. Or the body of someone who is not respecting their elders.

I can't remember the last time I yearned for a video game. It might have been Halo. Although the Nephew did kick my ass in Left 4 dead. Yet, another body looking for a grave.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
