Surprisingly entertaining considering what it was. Note that I watched this with my family, of course. At some point in the film, each of us found ourselves laughing, but never at the same time. It covers every single high school drama cliche you can imagine, but for dogs. On that level alone, it was strangely entertaining. I hate Owen Wilson too. There was also too many fart jokes. I don't remember a single fart joke in the comic. There was an opening scene with George Lopez voicing a tripping cat which could have been great had they really gone for it, but there was no follow through.

At one point, it got so absurd that S commented "like that was plausible" to which dm retorted "what do you mean? the talking dogs?"
