Eraserhead

Never saw it before...According to IMDB:

Quote:Though only given a theatrical release as a "midnight movie," a number of Hollywood A-list directors--among them 'Mel Brooks (I)' and George Lucas--saw the film and were impressed by it. Brooks offered Lynch the chance to direct The Elephant Man (1980) and Lucas offered direction of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) based on their reactions to this film.

Can you imagine a Lynch directed Return of the Jedi?

Wasn't he one of the directors of the theatrical version of "Dune"? Didn't it suck? Except the production design - that pretty much rocked.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Great violation scenes, like when the Baron swoops down on the boy with the heart plug - very disturbing. But I must concur, Lynch's Dune sucked.

Could we at least refer to it as David Lynch's Dune to avoid confusion? I had nothing to do with it.

I thought "crappy movie" and "Lynch" went together like, well, two things that go together.

Damn. I have no response for logic. Look for my next crappy film after the new year and in May. Oh, wait Changeling is coming out so. Still on the fence on it's wretchedness as It is directed by Clint. I got to build the psyche ward complete with Electro shock room.
