Rendition

An enjoyable political thriller - outsourcing torture - I love our country. Constructed with the Babel/Crash multiple intersecting storylines, with a bit of a twist towards the end. Streep is an excellent villain, different than in her Devil Wears Prada role, but icy and precise. Reese is totally unbelievable as being preggers. Gyllenhall made me forget that whole gay cowboy business in about half an hour, which is remarkable really. Omar Metley was ok - he could have suffered more. Yigal Naor was tremendous - he's one to watch. Zineb Oukach kept reminding me of Maggie Q for no reason whatsoever. The ending was way too happy. Everyone should have suffered more, including the Americans.
