Under the weather (again/still).
Saturday evening was final show of a 3 night run of a live storytelling show call “Crushing”. A curated show (storytellers had to pitch their stories and then workshop them with the producers). This was a borderline Big Deal as it was at the ACT downtown and sold out all 3 nights. I was focusing very, very hard on not coughing during the performance. I succeeded. The illness had the last laugh, however.
There was an after party in SOMA at a Bear Club that I did not know about. Lotta Harkness-shaped dudes, everyone pleasant. Exec Producer is Rosario Dawson, and she seems very nice. I’d post pics, but the forum hates me.
Unfortunately, the strain of being charming took its toll and a fever popped up. I’d already been producing gallons of snot for days. Called advice nurse at Kaiser on Sunday morning, fever got a little worse, drugs were prescribed, things now proceeding better. Sucks when your one day off is on the couch, leaking slime.
