So packed
More than ever
After sdcc & then this, I’ve reached my peoply wall
Long talk thru back in crowd
Djo played  a song we knew. So did the dozen teenage gals in their underwear next to us while we ate. They were chilly & nipply. Got the Oaxacan tamale & pineapple Gaia Fresca. Tara got the pizza bagels & cheese fries. Very satisfying
Caught the end of its rich and they had the entire Sutro firld bouncing
Waiting for pink panthress

Pink panthress was weak. Her vocal mix was off and the video didn’t highlight the dancers that well
We got called back to main for another IPR. I got him a friend right away. Then I was directed to a gal who drank a 100m cannabis drink (standard edible dose is 10m for context for any non D00M mmedicators) - got her a friend too. Cleared my patients and ran.

We bailed as soon as we could. RM gave out some prizes - odd trinkets like water bottles, carabiners, bottle openers and a wide selection of shirts. Most I already have and the last thing I need is more shirts. But I got a rm stealie hat I didn’t have (don’t need more hats either but got 2 this weekend - need a better hatstand.)

Back at the rabbit hutch by 11:30. My last night  here ever. Sad.
Tomorrow we will bail early because we need to move some furniture to svale, then I must drive hwy17 (caffeine cartridge waiting in Darth).

8.8 miles

My body hurts.

Death can started acoustic and moved to electric. Haven’t recognized any songs yet but I don’t know their playlist that well. It’s pleasant contrast after all the edm & hip hop.

Jade from little mix was ok - pop singer dancer
Disco line lands end edm another dude on a turntable
Had a hojicha strawberry boba and spilled it on myself but it was worth it

We turned in our RM vests & radio around 6:30 and went to eat in Sutro. The crowd wasn’t there at all so we decided to bail on Empire of the Sun and just watch Not For Radio which is the female singer from The Marias (they were a couple and broke up). She was mellow, dreamy, ethereal but we both missed the punch her ex brought, so we left. We heard a song from Empire we both knew as we walked out.

Got back to the rabbit hutch and filled Tara’s car with furniture & bags of stuff (not stunt). I stopped in at Hendon to see the beasts & Bri and give her a cute bag & pin we got as a promo from Toyota (she drives a Prius). I drove hey17 and did not need my caffeine bullet so I should be able to crash soon.

This year wasn’t so much about the music. Nothing moved Tara or me that much. We ate well. Used all our tix. Tara even found an extra in her rm vest (we have to check those out and in every time). We did some good psych work on Friday &Saturday and a lot of good table service work. Earned our keep. Had a lot of fun with the crew and each other.

Tomorrow will be rough - that return to the default world will be painful and we both have a lot of chores to tackle. But it was a good OSL - a fitting finale to our 6 fest rabbit hutch run.

One of the delights of the rabbit hutch is that Coffee Movement is right downstairs. And Tara is good friends with the baristas there, one of whom has risen to be a competitive champion who she taught how to steam milk back when they were both bobaristas (the owner, who I met this weekend, is one of the top competitions barista champs in the nation). They comped us drinks every day. I love their cocoa cappuccino (no sugar & oak milk). I am sorely missing that caffeine bump right now.

Also, slightly off the path to the employee gate for OSL is Devil's Tooth Bakery where we got amazing breakfast sandwiches. Their fresh biscuits are to die for. We got those Friday and Sunday - Tara ordered ahead online so we didn't wait in line at all. And when eating them at RM, several locals commented admiringly, recognizing this local gem. So good.

Removed my wristband today. I usually keep them on until I feel reenculturated back in the default world but with my Japan trip looming, I don’t think I ever really came back. But it is time to move on.
