Did not sleep that well last night at the rabbit hutch. The street light was such that I kept thinking it was dawn and near time to wake up. The first time was like 1am. I woke maybe half a dozen times this way.
But I’m excited to return to OSL. Tara is definitely a bit burnt out from the Bar & being in mid move, but we’re both looking forward to a weekend of OSL amusements.

Of to the Mariposa Grove to do some hiking with Scapino. Plenty of places to hide a body.

OSL day 2
The only one in the line up I want to see is pinkpanthress
I also have 2 extra meal tix (only used 2 of my 3 on Friday and a friend gave me one of hers that she didn’t use - she was only here Friday). I’m thinking lobster roll & elote corn

We had some for. Breakfast. Still yum. Glad you liked them too.
It was even more packed today. And the music wasn’t that good. But we ate well.

I discovered yesterday afternoon that Amazon had 2 OSL live stream channels for Prime customers. They weren't really live as when I checked it out, they were two different artists sets from the Twin Peaks stage. I tuned in about 8:30pm last night and it was The XX on one and some artist I don't know on the other. When one of those ended, they switched to The Strokes and I caught part of that set, much shot from above by drone. The audience was huuuge! I thought the Strokes performance was merely OK, but listening to the vocal styling and the arpeggiating guitars, I can make connections to both Geese and Wet Leg.
Went for a bike ride, saw The Odyssey, then went for a hike down in Marina/Ft Ord. It was car week this week, so traffic was shit. Watched 2 more installments of Sugar while waiting for the traffic to improve. At 8:30pm, there were still lots of slow downs on 101 North.
Back home at 9:45pm. Unpack and get ready for the work week.

Happy Monday.
Fix springs on dishwasher, if the springs arrive in the mail. Make hotel reservations in Hollywood for Film Festival. Still don't know date of screening and I am loathe to sign up for ten days of hotel stay, but today is the last day to get the discount. I will be winging it. Start putting very tentative feelers out about next film project. I need a few answers before I'm going to commit to doing what I want to do. Ooooh, mysterioso! Don't want to jinx it.

Off to visit the cfs. Today's meeting is done. Then back to the bungalow for more getting ahead work so I can go on vacay...
Last night was the first one spent with Tara, Bri, Shiva, Bottles & Charlie. It wet . It's nice to have the house occupied again. I miss blasting the ol' magnovox stereo and being more dishelved, but it's a small price.
