Got the rejection on the Film Freeway website rather than any official notification from Flicker's Rhode Island Film Festival. Now, I can spend the day eating my feelings.

Thought I had a shot with Not (they were looking for offbeat films), but it was Not to be. They also jumped the gun early. Not isn't due until next week. Checking the analytics, someone did watch almost the entire movie in Italy but it was at the opposite end of the country from where the Not film festival is held.

Dear Greg,
Thank you for submitting your project to the NOT FILM FEST. Unfortunately, we are not able to include it in our program this year.
Please know that your project was carefully considered by our programming team, and the decision was incredibly difficult to say the least. Unfortunately, not all of the wonderful projects we consider can be included, and we are forced to make many difficult decisions each year.

We wish you all the best for the film’s future screenings and we thank you again for giving us the opportunity to consider your film.
We would very much appreciate if you could keep us informed about your future productions and we look forward to having another opportunity to welcome you in Santarcangelo .

Sincerely,
The Nòt Film Fest Team

I will not be going to Kansas City. Fortunately, it was a free entry. I guess that makes it better.

Dear Greg,
We are grateful that you submitted your movie to the Universal Film Festival. We regretfully won't be able to include it in our curriculum this year. After carefully considering your idea, our development team made a decision that was, to put it kindly, very challenging. Sadly, not every great idea we explore can be implemented, and we usually have to make challenging decisions.
I want to thank you again for sharing your project with us. We wish you the best of luck and hope to see more of your work in the future.

Stupid me. For a minute there, I thought I was going to Northern Idaho. Hope is the actual mind killer. If you were wondering why Northern Idaho, my pal Uncle Al lives just across the border in Spokane.

Dear Greg,
Thank you for submitting Iron Crotch to the North Idaho Film Festival. Unfortunately, we are not able to include it in our program this year as an Official Selection.
This year, our submission count doubled from last year, and so the competition was fierce. Please know that your project was dutifully considered by the programming team.
Thank you again for sharing your film with us. We wish you the best of luck in your filmmaking journey and encourage you to submit future projects in the years to come.
As a last thank you, please save this promo code "75NOID2027" to receive 75% off submission fees for the 2027 festival. We do hope to watch you future work!
Sincerely,
NoID Film Festival

Don't have to worry about going to Toronto. Oddly, no one in Canada has screened the film.

Yay! Congrats!

I’ll be coming back from spending all my money in Japan so I doubt I can afford to go, but we’ll see. That’s what credit cards are for…

Tonight is a work night. Restorative. Preparative. No crazy.

I’m having D00M trip to the film fest fantasies - a crazed midnite run with lots of stimulants and vintage mix tapes. Anyone have a cassette player? No? Ok, maybe not. But we’ll be celebrating with you somehow…

IndieWOOD? Anyone else seeing this? “WOOD”?

Heh.

Oh, congratulations, too!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

DM did bring that up. I have high hopes for the Dingle festival.
