Bailing on Hall H. The line goes all they way across the back of the venue past the hotels on the end, not counting the labyrinth of tense barriers. Effin marvel.

Now back at the Hilton trying to figure out what to do with the day.

Been a lazy day walking about. Enjoyed the ST activation in the gaslamp - lots of original show props from the paramount archives. Just have artists alley left in the ex hall. Then meeting some of my ol immortal crew for drinks. Then the comedy show.

Dm was fading during the comic night. It was fun tho. Got a few chuckles and one almost belly laugh. Touched base with my ol Den frenz. Treated 4 friends as guests but didn’t realize how tiny the venue was. It ended at 12:30 which was too late to catch a shuttle but one of my pluses drove me back.

I havent mentioned that my hotel shower hasn’t been working. The water gets lukewarm at best. A repair person came in today and now it’s constantly dripping. No worries. I’m spent. It’ll be like sleeping next to a creek. I just hope I can get hot water in a few hours.

There was but I think there was a surcharge. That hotel sucked. I’m never staying in that side again. No more teal line. 

Got in line for Tea w/Toph. It was a huge line for a tiny tea shop. When I got to the line 8ish? it was halfway down the block. It was soon all the way down. The event was only announced on her IG. Stood next to an anime fan from Joshua tree who flies drones for a living. We spent the next 3 hours talking anime & pop cinema. Super engaging. We got in just before the time was scheduled to end (but they extended it). Got a selfie and a limited edition pin for Tara. Had an Appa-chino (atla reference) and no breakfast so I had the jitters all the way back to the venue.

It was right on the trolley line so I hopped it back and took care of some biz (picked up Daniel Wu’s teaser which I will demand he autographs) and closed a deal with another LF comic that an Immortal friend reps. Got a few more gifts.

Now back in the press room rehydrating with cucumber lemonade, power bars, earl grey (…hot) and some web biz.

I should leave in about 2-3 hours. I’ll eat at the airport.

It’s been a magical comic con. Some fine work hustles. Some serious feelies. When I got off the trolley, this maybe 4 year old kid saw a top tier Spider-Man and squealed ‘Spider-man! I love you!’ and gave him a huge hug and we all had to stop a relish in it. So sweet. I get misty just thinking about it now (keep in mind that I’m on about 12 hours of sleep over the last 4 days, and a lot of alcohol. I couldn’t even finish my Guinness last night and then they gave me a Mission Brewery tall that I didn’t even taste cuz DM tapped out.

At the airport 
The new southwest wing is spacious, clean and there’s a Lofty coffee right next to my gate. huge change from what a snarl it was when Tara was at UCSD.
Spent my last hour in the gaslamp, just checking out cosplay.
This year rocked. 
Now it’s that slow painful descent back into the default world…

Back at the bungalow. Stacy had a healthy dinner ready for me. And Yuki just stopped licking me.

I am exhausted but I had a Lofty coffee at the airport so it’ll be a bit before I can sleep. Me & Yuki gonna eat some cheese.
