Thought I'd posted about this but had not. It's based on the book Wool by Hugh Howey (see the thread in Books for the plot synopsis). In some ways it's better than the book - a bit tighter. Season one takes us about half way through the book. I'm assuming they will do another season since the book (now a trilogy) is popular. Or maybe not. Popular as print SciFi may not translate to big streaming views.

Started reading the book because I will be watching the series. 3 seasons and really good reviews.

I started watching season 3. No spoilers, but Ep 2 is really heavy on explaining how memory works in a foreshadowing way. Also, the supporting acting seems weaker than previous seasons. I hate that I have to wait  for each next episode. I liked season 2, but I've forgotten a bit of what happened...How does memory work again?

There was an interactive website for Donnie Darko that was a cryptic, exploratory puzzle tie-in with the film. I think this is trying to be the same for the Silo series. I started to poke around, but I didn't find it particularly engaging so far.

There was a huge installation at sdcc in the gaslamp but it was broken when I went by it. I took a pic which I’ll post on fb eventually.

I just finished season 3. Lots of flipping between the backstory of the Silos and the present. Nice unexpected cameo in one of the episodes. The threads finally start coming together and the season finale is dark, but satisfying. At the end of the last episode, there's a short preview of Season 4. I have a gut feeling about a "big reveal" that might come next season, but I'll keep it to myself until then...
