I might be developing a sty in my left eye
Trying to keep it clean
I think my zits were due to some product Stacy offloaded on me. It's a facial cleanser that she tried and didn't like. I put in the shower and have been using it for the last few weeks, but I think it's addictive as many of those specialized facial cleansers can be. It's great if you use it regularly but if you stop, you break out. Now I just use it on. my butthole. I've never got a zit down there (thank goodness) and it appreciates nice cleansers.

Just as I got my muse hotline going to write, Yuki had another seizure. It was a bad one. Watching a loved one go through a seizure is horrible, especially when you can not explain what happened to them afterwards. Yuki presents a textbook post-ictal stage after his seizures, so disoriented. I can see his confusion in his eyes and tried to comfort him using my talk down tones.
Holding my dog as he contorted wildly and pissed all over (outside thankfully) while praying that he wouldn't have a stroke or cardiac - that was not what I was expecting for the ides of March.
My neighbor's two frenchies were in the backyard. I let them out when he's at work if I'm here. They came off their veranda and looked very concerned.
He's resting quietly now. We had two walks, a short one about an hour afterwards, and his usual park visit. We also played with his boomerang for a good session, one that I had to stop because he was getting to psycho and overworked, and I thought he should rest. By the park visit, he seemed like his old self. He ate dinner well, and is sleeping it off now.
I'm not going to be able to shake this off for a while. My poor puppy.

I hate dogs. They make us care for them too much.
I hope it works out with the Yukster.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Today Stacy wanted to treat Yuki to a puppachino at Companion. It's a paper cup filled with whipped cream sometimes topped with a milk bone biscuit and they give them out free to dogs.
But they were out of whipped cream.
Then she took Yuki to Pet Pals to pick up some dog food.
Their registers were offline and they couldn't sell anything for a half hour.

Stacy made a special trip to the grocery store to get cinnamon sticks. They magically disappeared.
I've been working on getting my car phone holster to work. I got this new one that was magnetic and charged my phone, but my phone case is military grade aluminum with makes it heavy and non-magnetic. The supplied sticky magnetic plate isn't strong enough to hold it and it gets really hot when it charges that way so the phone shuts down. Being obstinate to make this work, I modified my old phone clip and attached it to the plate, adding duct tape, but that wouldn't hold either. I figure I could wire it in place and dropped it in my bag of TJ groceries when coming home yesterday to work on it today. That too has magically disappeared.
This has been a particularly bad Merc. I haven't even brought up the war which has me very depressed. Stacy asked me today if I was okay. She said my voice is lower and my posture is off. I blamed the time change and ptsd from witnessing Yuki's seizure (both valid) but I think I'm burning out from my work grind.
Just a few more days of merc...

I've managed to keep my Surface Pro running with cleanign and maintenance but the time is nigh. It's getting so slow and glitchy.
I need a new axe.

Found it! It had fallen in the passenger side crevasse. Gonna make this stupid holster work. Gotta get me some wire.
Still no sign of the cinnamon.
Stacy had a dentist appt yesterday in SF (she's stayed with this dentist for years) and took Bottles for a walk in GGP. At the very end, Bottles fell into a swamp near Stow Lake, got covered in mud and algae, and then got out and rolled in pine needles. Stacy tried to wash him in the public bathroom there but that only got some off. Then she tried again at the rabbit hutch bathtub, where Bottles leapt out and shook lavender dog shampoo foam all over as she tried to catch him, then she emptied the kitchen sink to finish washing him there. Both rabbits were away so the situation was contained without their knowledge. Stacy confessed to giving him a bath because he got muddy, but didn't go into details on the magnitude of the event.

It ends today.
Yesterday Yuki’s leash broke. It’s one of those retractable leashes but it stopped retracting.

Once I was walking Hazel and passed a house where there was a dog outside and they had hooked the handle of the retractable leash to the stair rail. The dog wanted to run out to see us and the leash handle tore to pieces when he got to the end of the leash. It looked like it exploded. I picked up Hazel but fortunately he was friendly.

Personally I don't care for retractable leashes. I only use that one when it's the three of us. I like a normal leash, thank you.
This morning Stacy took Yuki to the beach. She hoped to pick up a puppachino for Yukz at Companion, but they were out of nitrous. Yeah, right.
Just got confirmed for a RM show that I booked several weeks ago. Also heard back from a new comic-con coming to SJ, another one that I've been waiting on.
I know, I know, this merc bs is total bs - that's why it amuses me so - but it does feel like it's lifting.

Lifting here too. My headache is going away. Still bruised but improving.
