Oof. Rollin & Cinnamon are rolling in their (Peter) Graves. What a mess tbis film was. It tried to tie everything together - and maybe it did but I don’t remember it all that well. How many times must we hear that it’s the end of the world and only Ethan can save us? Why didn’t his lungs explode when he decompressed from the submarine? We were told there would be exploding lungs. As much as I disdain admitting it, Greg is on point with all his quibbles and to his credit, I’m sure he had plenty more but got too tired of writing. What a disappointing conclusion to the cinematic franchise.
I had to watch a vintage episode of M:I TOS just to get the bad taste out.
Not D00M recommended - just skip to the end biplane stunt. That’s absurd but still death defying.
