Right. Because that’s the sure way to a sword hawtty’s heart, giving them a covert tattoo.

Well, step 1 is the dance number. Tattooing is specific to sword hawties from magical lands.

Intermission

Holy cats! I knew the visuals would be over the top in imax but didn’t consider the sound. Relentless booming. Gut vibrating. I’ll prolly pee blood for a few days after the pounding on my kidneys. Totally worth it. It makes this even more absurdly bombastic. The super cut is ridiculous. Booming bombast all the way. It hardly lets you rest. Solid brutal action like superhero stunts but with swords and spears (instead of radioactive spiders it’s gods)

So over the top epic. And the intermission even has a timer.

Baahubali in IMAX was a totally new experience. The theater was shaking from the bass and my head is ringing like I've had it in a stadium speaker all night without earplugs (and I should know, right?). Oh so worth it. It has conpletely reframed the Tollywood experience for me. It's 3.75 hours with a 10 min intermission and the supercut stitches together new enhanced for IMAX scene plus a few previously unseen scenes. The whole movie is a constant pounding of painfully overdramatic scenes, so much slow mo, glorious slo mo, and a terrific beating of big ass war druns. The fight scenes put the outrageousness of the MCU & DCEU to shame. These are god driven super powers. The battlefield and walled city siege scenes are absolutely gargantuan, stunning on IMAX. I'm still shaking with awe and bass echoes.

This may be the greatest IMAX film I have ever seen.

D00M recommended.

There's an animated feature film coming next year.
