I reached out to the Mescalito Film Festival which used to do a Biopic Documentary film festival. They were no longer listed on Film Freeway and I was curious what happened to them. When I got an email from them announcing one of their films, I emailed back and asked that very question. Giorgio responded saying they had become an environmental activist film festival that only screened inside sanctuaries for rescued animals. He said I should send my film to him. I said my film didn't really align with his mission statement. Even after telling him the subject, he said send it anyway....

So, it begins just as it ends. I've completed the film. I've restarted my paid for Vimeo account. I've restarted my Gold Member Film Freeway account. I've entered the film into four festivals. They are Sundance, Slamdance, Polly Japser, and Galway Fleadh. I'll probably do SXSW next. I also have two lined up but I need to make sure there are no mistakes in the Chinese subtitles before I enter Hong Kong and Taiwan Documentary.

I still have the trailer to cut and the website to finish. Then i'm going to work on the Closed Captioning file which leads to the Chines subtitles file.

The earliest I will hear back from any of these folks is December.
