A documentary of the mars rover mission. Archive footage coupled with interviews of the major players and animations of the rovers on mars by Industrial Light and Magic. 

This doc is excellent. It deceivers on several levels - most of all an emotional one which I didn’t expect. I remember some of this from when it happened, but this fills in so many details and gives a solid sense of what it was like for that fateful nasa team that put it together. What a bunch of heroes. It’s constructed with an engrossing pace with great insights about what it all meant and some wonderful wake up songs. My inner science nerd was totally captivated.

Totally D00M recommended because I know there’s a little science nerd in all of us (and a major science. nerd in a few too).

Grrr. For whatever reason, Amazon Prime won't load movies for me at the moment. All I get is the spinning circle of loading. The last thing I was able to watch was The Peripheral. Since then nothing.

I saw this film pop-up but thought I should give it a pass. Now, I guess I'll have to see it.
