Well, that was chaos. The 5 kids were all too bubbly, talking over each other, and not giving straight answers. I was (fairly) moved to the last slot and only got off one question.

Griffith is also very charming - an old stage actor, completely different than the cartoonish Silver (a testament to his acting skills), and a genuine martial artist since childhood. I could've talked to him for a while but there was only time for me to get off one question.

That's a wrap on the press junket. That was fun. Now back to work.

Den now only offers transcribing services for major asap features and my CK coverage doesn't qualify, so I used up the rest of my free Otter transcriptions (you only get three). Since these interviews were round table, we each had to say our name and outlet before asking a question. 'Hi Gene, Den of Geek' became 'High teen dental geek.'

E10: season finale. Holy cats. Cobra Kai does it again. A brilliant finale. Totally gripping, especially the last 10 mins. Many good twists. Got the total feels twice. 

 
i watched S4e10 again while eating dinner. Trying to keep my head in the miyagi-verse until I finish my coverage. And even though I was only half tuning it in, I got those feels again, just once tho. 

I should really write more now but I’m tired and think I’ll turn in early tonight.

Just turned down an interview with Mike 'Karate's Bad Boy' Barnes. I just don't have the time. Plus I've been following his IG and I find him annoying in that motivational speaker sort of way...

I went back for S1e1 while eating dinner. That is such a great episode. They nailed it on the get go. 

I'm submitting two of my three Cobra Kai articles next. One more to go and I'll be out of the cobra pit. But I can't complain. I've made like a $K and a half on this show...

All three pieces were accepted and are queued to drop this week and next. 

My editor liked them so much that he asked for two more.

Hitting that wall, the block, that writer's block. I only have one more feature to complete. It's half done. And it's softball. But I've ODed on Cobra Kai. Much as I love it, I'm struggling to finish this. I hope to have it done by tonight for a final polish tomorrow, and then submission. 

But I gotta stop now. My brain has been swept like Danielsan's leg...

As much as I enjoy it, I'm happy to be done with this show for a while.

I know the owner of the Rio. He’s a dog park friend. But I wouldn’t trouble him for this. I don’t like doing that. We’re really just acquaintances and have chatted about the industry whilst picking up dog poop.
