Poehler delivers. This is a fine doc and goes plenty of places that Nicole and Javier did not. Plus it’s the real Lucy and Desi and their story is groundbreaking on so many levels that it can’t be told in one film or doc, however this does a serviceable just on the doc end. I got the feels a few times and that so seldom happens with a doc. But the keen eyes of the documenters catch authentic emotions in the cracks and share a beautiful story.

Recommended for D00Mers that love Lucy…and Desi.
