Christina's friend gave us a Hulu gift card, so we started with this. It's about Phyllis Schlafly and the ERA. A star-studded cast, particularly Cate Blanchett as Schlafly and Tracey Ullman as Betty Friedan, who were both fantastic. It was good, but ultimately a bummer, starting with high hopes for the ERA and ending with Reagan and the rise of the religious right. Schlafly comes off as a monster, rightly so it seems. A lot of this was new to me; I was either too young at the beginning, or not paying much attention later.
