Stacy is all better, thankfully.
I've still got lung issues. Sounds like AM radio static when I exhale. Still seized by occasional coughing fits, which sux because we're going to the ballet tonight and I can't take cough drops because the fits are so violent that'll I'll probably choke if I have anything in my mouth. The otc expectorant exacerbates the coughs, which is what expectorants do. I'm might skip the next two doses and let stuff settle until after the performance.
Sux, man. Work so hard for a few measly days off and wind up sick from working so damn hard.

Truth
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

i'm effectively better now. still cough a bit when the mucus accumulates, but my sinuses are more or less clear, clear as they ever are, and my lungs are no longer gurgling. still not 100%, but when am i ever 100%? Maybe 20+ years ago there were a few 100% moments, but that was a long time ago.

I entered the bloody nose portion of the cold as I blew out a few vessels in my nose from the constant blowing.

lube up that soldering iron with a fat gob of tiger balm and it's cauterize and sterilize with a fresh menthol aroma. it's a good cure for flatulence too.

Yep, I'm going to you two louts for healthcare advice. Everyone knows the only way to be sure is sulphuric acid in the Netty pot.

Two highly experienced, yet very cavalier, possibly even cruel, louts, than you very much.

You would think my body would be tired of producing phlegm and mucus at this point. You would be wrong.
And how does that get to be the spelling for phlegm?

I blame the Welsh. For the spelling. Oh, and for the goo, too. Why not?

TMI Post. And Gross.
You know what helped relieve a lot of the sinus pain and pressure? Blowing a marble sized blood clot out of my left nostril. So much better.
