I'm making a concerted effort to finish off DM's Iron Crotch today. That only leaves me with with finishing the trailer, finishing the website, and writing a bunch of letters to festivals for entry. Then I can rest. And by rest, I mean I will work on the Chinese subtitles.

Sending DM's Iron Crotch off to the compressor. Once it's been compressed, i'll be sending it to youtube where I will watch it, hopefully, for the last time before sending it to Sundance.

Today we did some trailbreaking and offroading in the mountains around lake Winne. We hiked to Devil's Den, a sketchy cave formed by some cracked granite that was allegedly a prohibition stash. Also checked out a small graveyard from the 1800s. There are rock walls everywhere, again from the 1800s. The leaves are just starting to turn.
Feeling a sconce of FOMO because I was scheduled to work The Who at the dump tonight - allegedly their final tour.
The rest of the crew arrives tomorrow night. Not sure what's happening tomorrow day.

Heard that there were two good sized aftershocks. Feel those too?
Today is our 'efficiency' meeting in the morning. My new Mac will increase my efficiency 10 fold. But since that's already in the works, I'm thinking I might bring up a stylus pen to help with the artwork I do. Right now, I do my photoshop work on my surface pro because it has a track pad and a touch screen. I've only noodled with a stylus but I think I could do better work quicker with it.
Then axes in the afternoon.
