I might chip at that a bit today. I've got another writing task that I volunteered to take on to support my Kung Fu school's blog. Maybe that's a denial task - one of those things to avoid facing that blank page (or screen in the modern day case).
But maybe I'll just binge. That's got a ticking clock, a lit fuse like the opening of
Mission Impossible (the original). I need to know who gets their revenge on who.

e21 - it's the downward death spiral now. major characters are dying in every ep. chinese dramas can be like that. everybody dies.

on the last 3 eps. major deaths in every ep. freaking bloodbath. lost one of my fav characters in e 25. lost even more before that. it's like the final season of GoT only we got here in only one season.
e 26 was another major beloved character death. the whole ep was basically one long death scene and mourning. probably not the viewing given my present state of mind, but we're commited to seeing it through.

Well, that's done.
The first half of the finale was fight scene, which you can get away with that when the villain has iron body. The rest was somewhat sappy closure.
Overall, it was enjoyable. There were a few great plot twists, some amusing fight scenes, a bit of acting and drama, and a lot of wude. The kissing scenes were all lame. These actors didn't know how to kiss. The catsuit Kung Fu hotties were... well that's always good. Phil was great. I was very amused that it centered around Baji, which is a style I practice. None of the actors were very good at Baji tho. It was most likely a reflection of the choreographer.
No sword fights...well, maybe a rachet here and there. A lot of knife fights. Not really DOOM recommended tho. Too long.
